The Daikin air-conditioning under ceiling is ideal where there isn’t a false ceiling but an unobtrusive fan coil installation is required.

The kW cooling duty was calculated with the benefit of the proposed system also being a heat pump, hence being able to provide the necessary cooling and heating for the shop area. The Daikin split system is inverter controlled and is therefore energy efficient in its operation with the ability to increase or decrease the capacity of cooling depending on the internal temperature setting.

The system is operated by either a wall mounted or hand held controller allowing on/off, temperature adjustment, mode of operation (cooling or heating) and fan speed.

A fully detailed proposal was emailed and sent first class post to the customer and a courtesy phone call the following week resulted in the order being received. We organised the equipment and our own specialist air-conditioning engineers to attend the following week and completed the installation to the customer’s satisfaction.

The working air-conditioning system was demonstrated and an operating and maintenance manual was presented together with a planned preventative maintenance proposal to safeguard the equipment and installers warranties.

In addition the client had an existing air-conditioning system manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric serving a rear managers office which required servicing, this was carried out and also added to the proposed maintenance contract to allow peace of mind cover in the event of an emergency call out in the future.
