From everyone at Kinlochs and Son Ltd, we would like to give a huge congratulations to one of our partners, Phoenix Arts Club, for winning not one but two prestigious awards.
The London based theatre bar recently scooped the top prize in the Lloyds Bank Small Business Of The Year Award as well winning the Best Late Night Venue In The UK Award.
We are extremely proud to be associated with such a top company and we will now detail why the above awards are so important and prestigious.
The Lloyds Bank Small Business Of The Year Award in conjunction with The Times is an award that has been won by some of the very best small companies around. We at Kinlochs are immensely proud to see Phoenix Arts Club join that list.
One of the requirements to win the award is to show growth, expansion or resilience and we can say that Phoenix Arts Club have most definitely shown the latter.
During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic where all places of entertainment were required to shut, Phoenix Arts Club adapted. They started running livestreamed events so that their performers could still earn an income and their customers could still enjoy high quality entertainment.
These events proved to be hugely popular, with the first of these reaching 32,000 views. It’s this sort of reaction that we at Kinlochs believe helped to convince Lloyds to crown Phoenix Arts Club as the winner of this award.
The Great British Pub Awards also recognised the work of Phoenix Arts Club by presenting them with the Best Late Night Venue In The UK Award.
When lockdown restrictions were eased, the theatre bar was able to get back to what they do best, providing top quality entertainment. The fact that they did so in a safe and Covid-friendly way gained many plaudits and helped to bring consumer confidence back to the late night entertainment industry.
