If our financial checks unfortunately indicate that a credit account cannot be offered at this time, we may ask for a proforma (up-front) payment before any works are started.

This is rare but can happen, for example, with a customer who is a new Limited Company with no credit history for us to base a financial decision on.

In these circumstances, and only after all avenues have been explored, we will always politely explain why credit cannot be offered. We will then make sure our customer understands when payments will be required for the project to commence and be completed on time.
